Foundations out at Butler High School
Work continues on schedule at Butler High School. The foundations for the building have been removed, signaling the end of major demolition work. As soon as the weather cooperates, the construction team can begin filling in, grading, and compacting the site. After that, the site will be prepped for the construction of the new sections of the building.
Workers began making the rough cut for the new student drive today. The new drive will connect the student parking lot with Elva Court, allowing for much improvement in safety and congestion during peak hours.
Despite the rainy weather, renovation work at the stadium is ahead of schedule. Underground drainage is in place, pole-vault pads have been installed, and the rim for the field has been built. It is going to be an amazing sight when it's up and running this fall!
